The Horses
We work at our seminar location in Cologne / Düsseldorf with Hanoverian horses that live in a group in a species-appropriate open stable with extensive greens in summer and a large, paved paddock in winter in the scenic Bergisches Land. For us, this is the guarantee for a healthy social behavior of the horses.
We work with Hanoverian horses at our seminar locations in cooperation with the Hanoverian breeding association Verden an der Aller. This breed inspires worldwide, because in dressage, jumping and versatility, the Hanover athletes hold a top position - countless medals at the Olympic Games, World and European Championships and international championships are impressive proof of Hanover's exceptional status worldwide. The beginnings of targeted breeding can be traced back to the 16th century. Today, the large-line Hanoverian is valued as one of the finest warm-blooded horses in the world. The breeding association, based in Verden an der Aller, Germany, manages the largest warmblood breeding in the world and acts as a role model in terms of quality, marketing, training and responsibility for its horses. Since 2014 there has been an exclusive partnership with the Hanoverian Breeding Association with its noble horses.
At our seminar location in the Camargue in South France, we work with typical white Camargue horses, a breed that is still used every day as working horses in the region's horse and cattle breeding.
At our seminar location in the Propstei Sankt Gerold in the Grosses Walsertal in Austria we work e.g. with Haflingers who are trained as therapy horses. Here, too, the animals live in a species-appropriate manner with paddock runs and beautiful mountain pastures in the Grosses Walsertal biosphere reserve in summer. The riding hall and stables of the St. Gerold Provost were awarded a prize in 1997.
